PURPOSE
Bible Baptist Christian Academy exists as a ministry of the Bible Baptist Church to aid parents in the teaching and training of their children. We believe our effectiveness depends upon our ability to work with the parents as a team for the benefit of the child. We believe the principles of the
Word of God are foundational to a successful educational ministry.
A BRIEF HISTORY
Reverend and Mrs. Robert E. Shockley founded Bible Baptist Christian School in 1979.
Reverend Shockley, himself, was responsible for much of the labor in building the facilities located
at 1550 East Eleventh Avenue. He served faithfully in the school until the Lord called him home
on February 22, 1988.
In October 1988, the Lord sent Kevin E. Trout to pastor the church and administrate the school. Pastor Trout has a real love for young people and a burden to see them serve the Lord. His leadership and personal example of striving for excellence creates the positive academic atmosphere of our school.
Brother Ronald Wettstein became the administrator of Bible Baptist Christian School in
August 1992.
Because of the tremendous growth of Bible Baptist Church under the leadership of
Dr. Kevin E. Trout, a new facility has been built at 4190 Susquehanna Trail North.
In September, 2003, Bible Baptist Christian Academy moved to that new location.
